Qwabe Twins is a South African Afro-pop duo formed in KwaZulu-Natal consisting of identical twins Virginia and Viggy Qwabe. They were contestant on season 15 of the Idols South Africa. Q Twins signed a record deal with Afrotaiment Records, released their debut studio album The Gift of Love

The Qwabe Twins, Viggy and Virginia Qwabe, are widely recognized South African singers and performers who rose to fame after participating in the 2019 reality singing competition show “Idols South Africa.” Their synchronized voices and captivating stage presence garnered them a dedicated fan base.

They became a national cause célèbre in 2019, when Viggy withdrew dramatically from competition on Idols South Africa following her sister’s elimination. Signed to DJ Tira’s Afrotainment label, the Q Twins began writing their own tracks, with Virginia handling beats and Viggy the music and lyrics.

While Qwabe Twins have become renowned for their extraordinary singing abilities and compelling performances, a recent revelation has sent shockwaves through their lives. It has come to light that the twins have experienced a profound family tragedy—the passing of their brother.

Born into a humble family in Monitor, north of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa, the Qwabe Twins are the pride of their parents and family. Born in 1997, these identical twin sisters have captivated audiences worldwide with their talent. Sources confirm that the twins also have a brother named Siphiwe Qwabe.

The Qwabe Twins were introduced to music through their involvement in their father’s church choir. Their father, Lawrence Qwabe, founded the Pure Freedom Christ church. Coming from a deeply religious family, the Qwabe Twins’ journey in music began in their hometown of Monitor, where they enthusiastically participated in talent shows and performed their compositions for friends and peers.

Their path to success was not without its challenges, but the Twins have risen as stars in the music industry. With their unique blend of Afro-Pop and Amapiano music, they have captured the hearts of audiences worldwide.

The success achieved by the Qwabe Twins is a source of immense pride for their parents and family. The unwavering support and encouragement they received throughout the years have played a crucial role in their rise to stardom. The Qwabe Twins have overcome obstacles, pursued their dreams, and made a significant impact in the music industry, which must fill their parents’ hearts with joy and pride.

Behind the scenes of their musical journey, their brother and manager, Siphiwe Qwabe, has played a pivotal role in guiding them to success. Despite his crucial role, Siphiwe has intentionally remained out of the media spotlight, allowing his sisters to take center stage. As their manager, he has been instrumental in steering their careers, offering guidance and support.

In a recent interview with Sowetan, Siphiwe shared insights into his sisters’ aspirations and readiness to launch their official music careers. He expressed his confidence in their abilities and their unwavering passion for music. While the twins were not yet ready to engage directly with the media, Siphiwe spoke on their behalf, emphasizing their dedication and ambition. His belief in their talent and his dedication have been driving forces behind the Qwabe Twins’ success.

Recently, rumors about their brother’s alleged passing have circulated on social media. These rumors have elicited a mix of reactions, with some sources claiming it as a tragic reality, while others dismiss it as a mere prank or publicity stunt. The Qwabe Twins and their family have not officially confirmed or commented on these rumors, leaving fans and followers in a state of uncertainty and concern
