Lorch’s Alleged Girlfriend Lorraine Moropa Penned An Emotional Goodbye Message

Lorraine Moropa, a talented actress known for her role in “The Queen,” has captured attention not just for her acting but also for her close association with former Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder, Thembinkosi Lorch.

Recently, Lorraine took to social media to share a heartfelt and emotional message, bidding farewell to former Mamelodi Sundowns coach, Rulani Mokwena, following his unexpected departure from the team.

Rulani Mokwena, who signed a four-year contract with Mamelodi Sundowns, had just completed his first year with the club when the decision to part ways was made by the board. This sudden news left many fans and supporters in shock, including Lorraine Moropa, who expressed her feelings through a series of Instagram stories.

In one of her posts, Lorraine, often seen as a stylish and influential figure, wrote, “This is a sad day to be a KaBo Yellow Nation. However, we are rooting for you always @coach_rulani. You are an epitome of greatness and a force to be reckoned with. I cannot wait to see you soar. The sky is the limit.” Her words were filled with admiration and hope, showing her support for the coach despite the unfortunate circumstances.

In another post, the 27-year-old actress, born in Daveyton, shared a brief but poignant message, “We are toast.” This statement further highlighted her sense of loss and the impact of Mokwena’s departure on the fans and the team alike.

For those who might not be familiar, Thembinkosi Lorch, affectionately known as “Shake My Soul,” made a significant move to Mamelodi Sundowns during the January transfer window. Under the guidance of coach Rulani Mokwena, Lorch made 20 appearances across all competitions in the 2023/24 DStv Premiership season, contributing to nine goals. His performance under Mokwena’s mentorship was notable, and his statistics reflect his valuable contributions to the team.

According to his player profile on the German website Transfermarkt, the 30-year-old footballer from Bloemfontein made 10 appearances in the DStv Premiership competition, contributing to four goals. He also played six matches in the CAF Champions League, scoring one goal, and made four appearances in the Nedbank Cup competition, contributing to four goals. These figures underscore Lorch’s consistent performance and his crucial role in the team’s successes during the season.

Lorraine Moropa’s emotional farewell to Rulani Mokwena not only sheds light on her personal connection to the football world but also highlights the broader impact of the coach’s departure on players, fans, and the sports community. As Mokwena moves on from Mamelodi Sundowns, he carries with him the support and admiration of many, eager to see what heights he will achieve next.
