It is with deep sadness that Moahi Funerals announces the passing of Lebogang Ronald Ledwaba, affectionately known as "Aus Velemina," a beloved South African artist, MC, and influencer. Lebogang, who touched the lives of many through his work, passed away on the 9th of April 2024, at the age of 30, after a brief illness.
In a somber turn of events, the nation mourns the untimely demise of the esteemed Lebogang “Aus Velemina” Ledwaba, whose infectious laughter and unparalleled comedic genius endeared her to millions across South Africa and beyond. It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to a true icon, whose indelible mark on the entertainment industry will forever resonate.
Lebogang grew up in Atteridgeville and Mamelodi, townships in Pretoria created during apartheid. Despite the challenges he faced, Lebogang pursued his passion for entertainment and became one of South Africa's most beloved influencers. His unique blend of comedy and music resonated with audiences of all ages, making him a cherished figure in South African entertainment.
Lebogang's career was not just about entertainment; he was also dedicated to mentoring young artists and actors. His impact extended beyond the entertainment industry, as he used his platform to support various societies, businesses, NGOs, and private enterprises, helping them promote their brands and share important information.
“I first noticed Lebogang’s talent on Facebook,” said Jerome Sachane, Lebogang’s manager and promoter. “I knew he had something special, so I reached out to him. From that moment on, we created magic together, producing hit songs and memorable moments that his fans will always cherish.”

Lebogang Ronald Ledwaba will be laid to rest in Mamelodi. The burial service will take place on 20 April 2024, at the Heatherly Cemetery.
