    Chidimma has been invited to participate in Miss Universe Nigeria by the organizer.

    The organizers of Miss Universe Nigeria have extended an invitation to Chidimma Adetshina to join the 2024 pageant.

    Chidimma, who recently faced controversy over her eligibility in the Miss South Africa competition, is a 23-year-old born in Soweto, South Africa, with Nigerian and Mozambican heritage.

    Miss Universe Nigeria has invited former Miss South Africa finalist Chidimma Adetshina to their 2024 pageant after her withdrawal from the local competition. Adetshina became the subject of xenophobia and bullying on social media with many, including Cabinet ministers, questioning her citizenship.

    • Miss Universe Nigeria have extended their support to Chidimma Adetshina, after her withdrawal from Miss SA, and invited her their 2024 pageant.
    • Adetshina became the subject of xenophobia on social media with many, including Cabinet ministers, questioning her citizenship.
    • Her withdrawal came after the Department of Home Affairs shared it had found prima facie evidence suggesting the person it had on record as her mother might have committed fraud and identity theft.
    • Miss Universe Nigeria have invited former Miss South Africa finalist Chidimma Adetshina to their 2024 pageant after her withdrawal from the local competition.
