  • Thereafter, in the mid-2000s the star landed acting roles in quite a number of shows including Home affairs and others.
  • In 2005 Mrs Serunye landed herself a role on the comedy of “Mzee Wa Two Six” then she got another one on Soul City in 2006.
  • Elizabeth Serunye portrayed comic roles and serious characters. Moreover, she played Mapaseka Montsho, the tyrannical queen of the kitchen at the ‘Cherry Blossom’ guest house in the SABC2 sitcom Moferefere Lenyalong.
  • And she combined tragic and comic as Rose Nakumba in ‘Rhythm City.
  • As she battled to cope with an abusive husband, Jafta Nakumba (Sandile Dlamini) and a rebellious teenager, Mampho (Itumeleng Bokaba). Thereafter, she landed a serious role as Principal Thobakgale on Skeem Saam on SABC 1.
